'03 Steering wheel controls

Alright, I've been trying to figure out what one button in particular is. On the backside of the 03 model, there is the stereo controls. On the right side you have the Volume up and down, and the center button is used for the media selection. On the left side you have track/channel up and down, but what does the Center button do on the left side. It has been bothering be like no other! I feel that somewhere in the world everytime i hit the button another missle is launched... if this is true, they need a warning on that button!

Could some one please help me?

It doesn't do a thing on my '04 either. My guess was it was to switch discs on the CD-Changer (which I don't have). I wish I could set it up as a Mute button.

Well that is good to know. I've been asking around about it and couldn't get a straight answer for the longest time.

That's the mute button for young back seat passengers.

Thats kewl. i think i might have it wired for some front driving lights than, is it a special wiring harnes that you got, or a matter of a couple wires and licking your fingures?

It relies on one of Ian Cull's wonderful circuits, which monitors the K-bus for the button press and toggles a relay, which I then attached to the dsc toggle wire. Yeah, you could use it for driving lights or whatever.
