Interesting Sub Enclosure... anyone heard (of) it?
I found this perusing eBay... It comes with an Alpine Type-R, and seems like it would be a good fit for a MINI boot (or maybe even 2 of them). They also come in 12" flavor too.
Anyone heard of this company ("Hi-Tech" enclosures), and/or heard the sub in this enclosure? It looks a little small volume-wise, so I'm wondering how it sounds...
Edit: I copied the image to my own server, as I'm sure the eBay auction will expire in a few days...

Never heard of or seen a design like that.Seems like it would work though.
With the right sub. I bet that plastic chamber flexes though as thin as it looks. Flex/vibration=lost energy
Pretty neat design though!

Hi K4KAS, that's what I was thinking... the plexiglass does look pretty thin, especially for a hard-hitting Type-R. Also, I'm a little concerned about running a bandpass box that's not designed by the sub manufacturer, as it may be a bit looser than one that's optimized to a specific speaker. Not sure if I'll try one of these yet, but am thinking about it.
I actually had a friend that bought one, and her really liked it. I didnt get to hear ir much since he sold the car about 2 weeks later. All I can say is it hits pretty good in an eclipse
