FYI. I discovered that in the door jamb of my 03 Mini with original HK harness that there is a harness connector at the door jamb which then feeds into the rubber conduit to the inner door. Thus one can not just pass a guide wire(fish) through the conduit to run new speaker wires. I have decided that since there are four wires leading to the inner door that I will double up the wires to connect to my amp thus increasing the effective guage of wire to the door speakers. I was surprised that the fact about the jamb connector is no where to be found in these threads. Did I miss it somewhere? I'll keep everyone posted. Daz
