Need XM HELP -Can't get stations anymore, despite having XM signal

Hi,

I have had XM for more than 18 months ...Can't currently get any stations, except the Preview ones ....

XM has resent a signal like 4 times, no success, past 3 months ... I hit a preset station number ...says "UPDATING" then it goes to the preview channel

I have ALL the correct stuff and antenae, no codes

If you can get the preview channels but not the rest, then your XM unit is not accepting the activation signal. If XM has repeatadly tried to activate it, it sounds like you might have a hardware issue. What XM receiver do you have?

I had this same problem with a TERK unit for PIoneer stereos. It was always the cable that goes between the XM antenna adapter and the stereo adapter, the one that is actually an S-Video cable. I would have to unplug it and then plug it back in. After that I would get signal until it worked loose again. I finally just bought the pioneer unit and it is good to go, plus it had some extra features.
