It does play MP3's. But oddly for some reason mine won't play the tracks in the order I have them saved on the disc. It plays correctly in my computer but when I put a disc into the unit in my car it is completely wrong. I can't figure out what's going on.

Also, one annoying thing is that if you set it to random play when you turn off the car and turn it back on it starts playing in regular mode, not random. I can't figure out why it does that but there does not appear to be any way to change that. Anyone have any thoughts?

Strange. Mine does not do that. It always plays in the order I burned on the disk.

I burn different CDs into different folders on the disk. Perhaps that has something to do with it. Or perhaps a setting in whatever software you are using to burn the MP3 onto disk.

It also plays WMA's. Haven't tried a DRM protected one as of yet.
