Factory iPod Interface with Nav 03

I can not seem to get a straight answer on installation. I am looking to get the interface, but due to my not so good splicing skills, I would rather not have to cut things. I have done this in the past with another vehicle, and to this day it doesn't work correctly. I like the idea of the interface, but unless its plug and play, I'm not sure its a good idea for me. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sean
