Is your MINI still under warranty? If so, I would just take it to the dealer and have them replace it for free. The HK amp is part of the car and is covered under the standard 4 year/50K mile warranty.

If it's out of warranty, you have a few options...
A. Buy a new replacement from a dealer.
B. Find a replacement at a junk yard.
C. Find a replacement from a private seller (such as eBay).

Good luck.

That sucks...if you're forced to buy a new one, go to Classic Mini in Cleveland. Their NAM price was quoted to me last year as something like $650
