iPod Adapter Problem

PLEASE tell me it's not my iPod. Actually, I'm not sure what it is. I put in the DENSION ice-wire thingie myself. It didn't seem that cosmic. Just plugging in wires to where the CD changer goes and then plugging in th iPod. Well it worked once and then never again. I really don't want to have to go back to best buy to have some dude tell me i have to pay him to do exactly what i did. So can someone help me?! Right now it keeps saying "ok to disconnect" with a check mark on the iPod screen. I tried resetting my iPod and it will play for a few seconds then go back to the "okay to disconnect" screen and stop playing. HELP!!!

It should always say "okay to disconnect", but it should still play. I know that's not very helpful, but that message is constant, and is always (irritatingly) where the track-time would otherwise display.

You may have a loose connection. I had that happen to me. Yesterday I picked up the 2nd generation MINI ipod adapter at the dealership in San Antonio. I am throwing my icelink away after I have this installed. Piece of junk.
