Navigation & Audio Xtra guages for NAV equiped Mini
#1
Does anyone know if the extra guages that go on either side of the tack would fit on either side of the tack/speeo combo that comes with the NAV equiped Mini? I would love to get these.
Also, how deep are the guages? They look really deep in the pics i've seen.

>>I want to know as well, pics would be best of course. Boost Gauge is most important.
Why would you need a boost gauge!?!!?
A supercharger is belt driven and provides relatively consistant boost - there is no need for a gauge to tell you that. Thats why supercharged cars dont have "turbo lag", where the car is still gradually building boost as the rpms increase (becuase the turbine in the turbo is spun by exhaust gas). For a turbo car, a boost gauge is informative - becuase boost fluctuates, builds, is blown off.
Just my $.02

Here we go. I was TOLD by our brethren that: I need this gauge because it is cool. That I was getting into the "spirit" of motoring by exchanging a voltmeter for a boost gauge. I am still having a hard time buying into it. Yes it is neat and fun to have a gauge that fluctuates wildly While you drive (and passengers will be awed) But, it really serves very little purpose in my daily driver. Maybe a volt meter is not all that necessary in a new car either. I just can't justify the boost gauge. Maybe It would tell me when my air filter was getting dirty.
