Yup, my Replay TV caught it.

It wasn't much though. The bit on taking apart the dash was OK. But the amp 'enclosure' was a joke. Then when they got to the actual sub they used a pre fab unit that fit in the left side of the trunk.

that sucks, usually when you put in a sub, you lose trunk space....but with the MINI now there is no trunk.

I wish they would show more mechanical thing about MINIs...I mean not necessarily DIY, but like on the powerblock or any other car show. Audio stuff is awesome, but I would be more interested in the mechanical aspect.

Just caught the show tonight. My daughter was impressed with the sub enclosure. Any info on this (make, model etc)?

There were actually a few posts made on a different thread about the Mini on the DIY channel...It was my Mini that they "tricked out"...the first showing of it was last Friday night. This Friday (12-23) was the final time that they aired that episode. So if you haven't seen it yet, you probably never will. They will probably re-run it later next Spring, but I dont know for sure because they are already beginning to film a new season of Tricked Out. They actually filmed my episode last August at their studios in Knoxville and it is just now showing. The DIY Channel, HGTV, Food Network, and Shop at Home Channel are all owned by the same company and based out of Knoxville.
I always bring my car to this one Import tuner shop in Knoxville; that shop also provides all of the parts and background for "Tricked Outs" set. Last August when I had my CAI and springs installed, a scout from "Tricked Out" saw my car and later called me and asked if I would be interested in being on the show and having free car parts installed, etc... and I said Heck yeah! Anyway, here is a link to their site and a detailed report of the show including step by step directions on how to install it.
