To tell you the truth, I forgot, I would venture to guess up. A friend of mine has a picture (we had to pull his for the NAV). Could you feel the space for it? If so and you can recognize where to put the plug, you can try it each way.

Yes, the mounting clip is suppose to face up.

I asked my brother to install it It took me two seconds to drop the knee panel then it took my brother something like 15 seconds to install it. As I said before, I must've done somebody wrong in my previous life
