Auto program (Auto store) FM and AM bands. Owner's manual describes their use but in short, you can use it to search out and automatically program the 6 strongest stations the radio can find in a new area (city), while leaving your normal presets on FM1, FM2 and AM intact. To use it, cycle through the preset 'channels' until you land on FMA (or AMA). Press and hold the FM (or AM) button until 'AUTOSTORE' is displayed on the HU screen. The 6 strongest stations are automatically programmed on buttons 1-6.

If you don't want to use the autostore function, you can use the six "extra" buttons to store 6 more FM and 6 more AM presets in your local area.
