I have 2 simple questions;

1. Where is the antenna for the NAV system located?

2. Will tinting the windows interfere with the reception?

 

nav antenna is in the larger antenna base, its built in.

tinting windows will have no affect on radio or nav reception.

 

I want to add Vcomm NAV system to 2006 MCS (delivery in Dec 06).

Does anyone know for sure that the stock Mini antenna comes prewired with external antenna so that it is ready to attach to any NAV system whether OEM or aftermarket?

I like the idea of the Vcomm (no screen - but voice activated) nav system. I didn't buy the OEM nav system because I didn't want to give up my center speedometer.

i odnt believe the nav antenna comes on a nonnav equipped car, charging more for something you dont need wouldnt make sense...
