Navigation & Audio Speaker Cover question
Speaker Cover question
I have a 2005 MCSC. The tweeter covers in front are buzzing (especially with voices on AM radio), and so are the rear speaker covers (with any sort of bass). The buzzing goes away on these speakers if I press my finger down on the cover.
I know the tweeter cover can be pulled off. Can the rear speaker cover in the convertible be removed and put back on? Or is it sealed to the rear panel. I'd rather not remove the entire rear panel if I didn't have to.
Thanks.

The rear speaker covers on my 03 (non-HK) are permanently fixed to the panel at the factory. The covers are attached by plastic rivets that have been melted/welded from the inside of the panel.
Remove the panel, and the covers could be removed from the panel with a dremel and soft touch, but how would one re-attach them?
It might be worth removing the panel to inspect the covers and perhaps apply some hot glue?
g'luck!
