Anyone have one of these?

I am going to do a full upgrade in the next couple weeks, so i'm looking around. I went in to a JL Audio dealer today, and he showed me this.

Nope, I don't have one, but I'd be very interested to hear what you think about it and how the install goes if/after you put it in. Are you also replacing the entire stock audio system (head unit, HK amp if you've got one, speakers)?

I am looking to do a complete upgrade, new hu and speakers all through. I will be getting an Alpine hu (not sure which one, but I want alpine because they will work with the steering wheel controls), new doors and rear speakers, amp and sub woofer.

The reason I like the stealthbox is because it's tidy and not exposed, as I don't want to puncture the speaker with something hitting it while in the boot. Also like it because it has been specifically designed for the mini, and the acoustics have also been finely tuned to sound good in the car.

The HK system that came with the car is ok, but over 40mph you can't hear it unless you have the windows up.

I will be doing this install in about a month, and I will document the process.

I have the same sub but in a $50 hatchback box, and it sounds just right. I am curious how much the stealthbox would change the sound of the sub. How much is does it cost, anyway? Good luck.
