I just wanted to know if people are benefiting from this laser jammers, before throwing big chunk of money. Did any of you guys install it and used it?

 

Installed a Blinder M20 system (Blinder only, no Veil but also no front plate and minimal chrome just at the edge of the grill on a darker colored car) on a MINI Cooper S in April, drove around alot and no hits until this past 2 weeks...

A couple of weeks ago got hit going around 60 in a 50 zone that was soon to be a 35 zone after you go over a bridge that passes over the estuary. The motorcycle cop was unexpectedly operating at 1030pm (I'm seeing more Newport PD operating bikes even at night) and the M20 went off. We coasted down to like 45 and then turned off the jammer, we then saw the Motorcycle cop hiding just off the road in a shallow pull out behind some bushes, the first hit was probably at like 500-600 feet away, about 300 feet by the time we slowed down and finally saw him. Didn't know if we had a definite jam as we might have been below his tolerance, but then again these guys aren't known for their mellowness and tend to pull anyone more than 5 over.

A more definite jam occured today, got a constant alert on the M20...this time, I was definitely over anyone's tolerance (approx 70-75 in a 50 , slowed down and turned it off once my speed was around 57-55. Saw the Motorcycle cop parked at the intersection, he looked at me but didn't pull me over...

First alert about 800 feet from the cop's position.

I think this was definitely a save. Definitely over even a generous tolerance.
