Installing AUX Interface (BlitzSafe or otherwise)
There have been a lot of discussions about already installed AUX inputs, but is there anyone that can give detailed directions on how to install the interface with the H/K system? I know you can do it in the boot on the right hand side, but there is a large black box under the cover back there and not the stereo plugs and wiring that I can see. Your help is greatly appreciated!
If you get the Mini Aux Input adapter, about 40.00, it snaps right into the back of the HK head unit. Just reach around the down tupe, feel for the slot and snap it in. Then run the other end of the input anwhere you like in the front of the car.
Took about 5 minutes to find the area on the head unit and snap in the connector. Another 15 minutes to decide and install where it would be most convenient to have the 'plug in' located.

Unless you have factory nav that is. If you do have factory nav, then you'll have two wires for the voice commands in an existing plug that have to be transfered over to the new AUX plug when you remove the existing one. It's easy to do as the wires pop out of the old plug with the help of a small screwdriver. The only trouble is that you have to pull the radio to get at them.
