Sony Bluetooth control

Anyone out there that has this setup for the Mini...
Where did you put your control swithch? I'm thinking about mounting it besie the parking brake, (where the seat heater switch would be).
Any other better places? The Mini interior has few flat surfaces for this.

Since I have heated seats placing the controller there wasn't an option.

Mine is on the dash near the steering wheel. Although if I was paying better attention when I put it there, I would have made sure that I had placed the controller in a spot that wasn't obstructed by the steering wheel...

Sorry to revive this thread but...
I have the unit installed. The phone, (Crack Berry 7100) links up great within a couple of seconds of starting the car.
The sound from the spakers is great.
The sound from the micophone is terrible. All I can hear, (when I called my work number to test the unit) is *static*.

I have the microphone mounted just in front of me on the sunroof trim. I've movd it twice and the same effect.

Any ideas?

First, it's always acceptable to revive an old thread if it pertains to your question...

Second, the best suggestion I can give you is to reseat the mic plug on the controller box, maybe it's come loose? I've got mine right by the base of the rear view mirror on both the MINI and the Subaru and haven't had any problems...

My biggest thing is that I need to figure out how to use the HCB-300 with my new phone, the ETen M500
