Car Audio Shops In Ventura County...

I have visited a few shows around me, and AT BEST, the shop has heard of the Icelink+, most of the shops never heard of it! Amazing! So, what I am looking for is a shop that has actually done iPod integration into the MINI's HK system, and perhaps has a RTA (spectrum analyzer), and is good at making crossovers, to see if I we can tweet the harshness of the highs in the car.

Would be even better if they have installed the autoup module, and has installed the HK enabler, that would be great !

Also, is it possible to put in a linelevel EQ between the HK head unit, and it's amp?

Also, does the HK enabler use line level? I thought I heard someone say it uses speaker level?

Thanks!

Doug

It would be difficult to adjust the frequency on a OEM HK system unless an EQ is added. I believe the wires have to be spliced between the HU and the HK amp in order to add a line-level EQ. However, that might introduce some unwanted noise into the system, defeating the purpose of it all.

Have you thought of upgrading the speakers first to see if that will improve the sound?
