Bluetooth just gone?

Hi all it’s been awhile since I have been here on NAM, after my roadster was totaled 2x in two years I moved into a civic, but my SO has kept our Countrymen- could use a little guidance from people in the know if possible.

A little background been having strange issues with issues our 2015 R60 w/HK & connected.

A few months ago my SO started waking up to a dead battery. We figured out that the FM radio was indeed turning itself off and on randomly…Bizzare right?

I happened to notice the Joystick controller was no longer functioning, while I could push down to select it wouldn’t spin to change selections. I checked and replaced every fuse in the footwell connected to radio functions. I went ahead and swapped out the controller. All good works fine so far keeping it set on satalite radio. Not a fix but definitely easy enough work around.

Here is the issue- almost everything else seems to be working, steering wheel controls work but voice commands keeps giving error messages “ I can’t understand you” and Bluetooth functionality is gone- and I can’t recheck the little box it’s grayed out.

I guess the first question is has anyone had this happen?
Is this possibility a software issue or possible another replacement part or fuse?
If so Is it still possible to upload via usb?

Currently searching for a working Y cable replacement to see if that still functions.

Any ideas on where start?

any idea where it’s physically located?

Some things I am completely comfortable with as far as removing trim but if it’s in behind the radio that’s far above my skill level.

Hey, did you have any luck with this "Please wait" issue?

This issue has been plaguing me for a few years. I don't drive it enough to worry too much about it, but would be nice to solve!

Nothing is beyond your abilities when dealing with these mini coopers.
I'm a novice and have completely disassembled the entire real quarters, headliner, looked under both seats and lastly the radio area. I'm going to lift the dash next to find my Bluetooth antenna. Disconnect the battery before digging too deep. Airbag sensors and all....
