I had an idea, dont know if it would work or not, but here it is. I want to be able to use my ipod in my car by controlling the songs with the ipod itself, dont really care about the titles on the head unit. I want to mount the ipod right next to the head unit on the little pillar. The problem is I also want a aftermarket head unit. Heres my idea: could I use an equalizer or something with an aux connection to hook up to say an Alpine deck? Heres a clarion one i found on ebay, just an idea.
