They are from Germany - I messaged them and they said it is specific for retaining steering wheel controls bc of the adapter but it works for aftermarket stereos to use on HK equipped vehicles (for audio as well as SW controls) so I am tempted to give it a try.
I say go for it if it's not to expense. I just bought a Bluetooth Music adapter for my R58 so I don't have to look at any wires anymore. From Germany also, haha.

ya it’s not all that cheap but not expensive either. It’s about $60-$80 cheaper than the kit from the UK so I figure why not.
