I know when I upgraded the speakers in my RAM truck years ago, it made a remarkable difference in sound quality. Has anyone done this upgrade to their H/K system and did it make that much of a difference? Did you do something else or this and something else together that made a big difference? I've got a new 2022 Cooper JCW.

I think the HK system on older MINIs is good (gen 1 and my Gen 2 R58 JCW ) and as the system gets newer through generations the sound gets better. But Bav Sound takes its to more of the audiofile level with a quick and easy swap. Not doing the amp, rewire, and $$$ focal thing.

I had a logic 7 in my range rover sport 2011 5K upgrade (same as the Rolls Royce) and its a step up from the MINI HK, just more bass response, the Merdian $7,000 option in the newer range rover sport is about 2 steps above that. So the MINI system is good, but much better with a quick swap to more bass.
