Anyone used this Android Setup yet

Very close to pulling the trigger on buying this. Seems to have everything I want, and I strongly dislike the version with the kph speedo around the edge.

If you've installed one of these, I would love to hear about the experience and functionality as delivered.

Thanks in advance.

That looks like an R56 part.

I'm interested in more on what you are doing with the Pioneer Evo unit. Not a US model but i assume similar to the C2500NEX. Did you remove the screen from its frame to fit it in the space where the oem screen went? What did you do about the physical buttons on the pioneer? Are they not needed, e.g. volume can be controlled on screen and using the steering wheel so you don't need the physical buttons?

I'm also very interested in keeping the OEM head unit, but replacing the R53 Nav screen with some sort of Carplay-capable display. Is it possible to find a Carplay display which is not part of a head unit and simply sends audio to the OEM head unit via an AUX IN adapter? Oh, and which fits neatly inside the Nav screen bezel! Thanks.

So did you end up going with that unit? I am considering the same one.
