I'm super new to Minis and never have been a car guy, but my last car had a decent speaker system with some bass and my current Mini's speaker system is bad. Specifically the bass, I don't mind the speakers not being super high quality. I just want a little kick..

What would the be the best option to add a little kick to my current sound system? Would it fit under the passenger seat or somewhere tucked to the side in the back cargo area? Ideally, I would like to retain as much space as possible.

Also, I've never done any work on cars before. Would it be too difficult for me to install a sub?
