Adding AV Input to Stock SatNav

Hi

I've read pages of threads on adding an AV Input.

I've discovered this lead https://www.carfeature.de/en/hifi-na...av-adapter-bmw and it does list R50/R53 in the fitment list.

However, I believe that it gets added to the video module (BMW's have one that provides the TV) which obviously the Mini doesnt have.

From the pin outs on the back of the Satnav drive, the spare pins are all outputs for the video module (if there was one fitted)

Has anyone successfully fitted a lead without using a video splitter

Thanks

David

Hello David,

Take a look at the circuit diagram in this :-

http://www.motoringfile.com/files/rear_camera.pdf

AV input can be added to the BMW Video module, the NAV display is a dumb RGsB display.....
