Video In Motion Coding - No CIC Module

I have read the PDF in the first link on R60 coding about coding the VIM. I have tried to find info here but still can't figure out how to make it work. It seems the tutorial is for a BMW while our R60's are a bit different.

I have found the "Video_Nuir_Mit_Handbremse" in two modules, the Media and CHAMP. I believe this is because I have the display without Navigation. Neither file creates a NETTODAT file with the "00,00,03,03" values mentioned in the tutorial. I'm not sure what values to change and/or what module to use.

Would anyone that has done this mind posting a guide for me?

i follow the tutorial and instead of using CIC, i replace it with CHAMP2 module.

What happen is prior to the modification, my iPhone 4s would not allow me to play when the car is moving. it said something about car must be in parking mode or something. After i did that modification, i was able to play video while driving. My son love it..

now what doesn't work is the freaking dvd. I can't code for the dvd player to play dvd disc. I have r56 hard top but i am sure should be similar to country man.

Do you mean audio or video tracks on DVD? I don't think video is supported at all.

It is a DVD drive that is a music player, but not a video player. The drive can read and decode music tracks on a DVD (or CD) disc, but it doesn't have a video decoder nor video output.
