ICELINK install- what route...

did you take (or plan to take) from the CD changer cable connect in the boot to the cockpit? I know you can hook it up directly to the head unit, but those of you that hooked up from the boot, what was (is) the best route through the boot, and backseat to the front?

I am trying to visualise where the cable will go, and how much ripping up of my trim I would have to do.
Any thoughts?
I have an 04 MC, and am getting the ICE>LINK plus.

Far better to connect at the stereo as you will get some loss by having the signal go all the way front to back twice
