need help on installing cd changer

just one question: how to fish the cable from the CD changer to behind the right sidewall to where the plugs are taped. ....I removed the two screws and can pull the plastic wall away a bit, but I don't seem to be able to pull it away far enough to get a cable through and also won't that cause the plastic wall to be bulging out as the plastic fits very flush against the metal and doesn't seem like there would be room for a cable

also, one of those two screws seems to have stripped threads....does anyone know if it screws into a plastic connector that could be replaced, or should I just force a fatter screw in there

my changer is on order and should be here in a couple of days

Untape the connector it should pull out far enough to plug into the changer. I don't remember for sure but I don't think I put the connector back behind the plastic I think I left it between the changer and the plastic wall. Either way there is not alot of extra wire to work with.
Good luck

do you fish the wire down and behind the plastic sidewall and out where the carpet is, or is there space enough to have the wires in between the sidewall and that lil door/cover?

I let it come between the side wall and the door/cover and it works fine. keep in mind that the install bracket and changer will hide any little bulge and the cable that comes out to connect to the changer
