Repair NAV screen finish

Unfortunately, it looks like the previous owner of my F56 used a Brillo pad to clean the NAV screen. When the light hits it, you can see all the marks.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Is there something I can coat the screen with, that will restore its original uniform matt finish? Can one buy just the outer most layer of the display, and replace it?

I'd start with

https://www.novuspolish.com/

https://www.novuspolish.com/heavy_scratch_remover.html

https://www.walmart.com/ip/NOVUS-710...PING/196325059

used this on my Miata's plastic rear window for years

You got me thinking some more about this, and a better explanation might be that the previous owner "removed" some of (most of) the anti-reflective coating that was on the outside of the NAV screen. So, I have a mix of the matt finish of the coating, with the shininess of the underlying base plastic.

I think I need to add back the anti-reflective coating, and not make it all clear as the rear window cleaners you mention, might do.

(PS: I just noticed that I accidentally posted this in the Gen 2 NAV area, and not the Gen 3 I intended...sorry)

Here is something I found, from our BMW cousins...

Nav screen fix (scratched anti-glare coating)
