New Nav Database

I'd like to get an updated database. Anyone heard about a newer nav database coming?

I was driving around Indie this week for work, and they are doing some major construction around Muncie with the freeway entrance and exit ramps (they are in a completely different place than when the map was made), so that was interesting.

Bumping this up again. Not sure what it is with Indiana, but I was driving though it again today and Navigation was a travesty. Half of the freeways just plain didn't exist int he Nav database. These are actual freeways - I think one was I-25. Parts of it were there, and then it would look like I was driving off the road into nowhere and it would go crazy trying to keep recalculating. Has there been an updated Nav database release for the F56? If so, how do you tell if you have the most recent version? I had to switch to Waze.

The dealership told me there was an update last Wed - and they added mine on Fri.

New database? How much did they charge you?

Yeah I was curious about that too. I'm soon to be a new MINI owner and wondered about the cost of updating the Nav.

Cost was $0 since the dealer held off installing them until the new update was released.

Installing what?

This makes no sense.

Agreed. I suspect that what took place was a software update, not a new database.
