Alpine 9830 to '05 MFSW

Just got my 9830 and am going to install this week. Anybody know if there is a plug and play adaptor for this unit to MFSW? I'm kinda dumb when it comes to figuring out what it is I need to make this work.

As ever, MikeyTheMini is probably your best source for knowledge. On MINI2 he has a thread you should read which says the Alpine CDA9830R has an adaptor, but apparently US versions (with no "R" on the end) are not compatible.

Assuming that is correct, your only option is probably the PAC-SWIX which I fitted to control my Kenwood HU.
