Hi, I have a 2017 Clubman S. I like to vary my music so I keep it on USB drives. Is there a way to have the music play randomly as opposed to sequentially?

Going to move you to the Gen3 section. Some of us with the older models may have a VHS drive but for sure not USB.

 

I, too, prefer playing music via USB drives, but because the audio quality is higher than any form of streaming. With that said, I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to get all songs to shuffle myself in my 2019 F57! Finally figured out that you need to initiate it from the songs menu (or is it titles??) rather than any other screen. If you turn on shuffle from artist or album, it only shuffles the files in that "section." I also noticed that the menu selection in the instrument cluster works now that I'm playing my music via USB. It didn't when playing via my iPhone X over Bluetooth (oddly, when I changed tracks, it showed the LAST song played rather than the newly-selected one; it was strange).
