If i were to install an aftermarket amp on my non-HK R60...

Would I be able to just swap out the stock amp in the trunk w/o having to rewire throughout the entire car?

I currently have the Bavsound speakers + ghost subs, but it just isn't enough. Lacking mid-bass....and just bass in general. I was hoping it would be a relatively easy swap to change from the stock amp over to a 5-6 channel amp? Suggestions are welcome.

I don't think the non HK set up has a separate amp in the trunk. I think the head unit powers the speakers. I could be wrong as I don't have the non HK in any of our cars. You would have to intercept the speaker level output of your head unit and plug that into an amp which accepts speaker level input. JL audio is a quality producer of amps priced accordingly or look for something cheaper if needed.

Minnie, I can intercept the lines going into the asd module and then route them back from there. I have found a six channel amp that would work, however I can not find the color codes for the lines going into the asd module. Help?

Not sure why you would be messing with the ASD module? That just provides fake engine noises in S model cars. Most people would either buy a harness, make one or code out those sounds. www.newtis.info/ should have wiring diagrams.

I would not be messing with the module itself. However all speaker lines are fed to asd module and then they go back tin the speakers. Using this point of the wiring will give me easy access to incoming as well as outgoing speaker lines.
