Re:replacing upper overflow tank reservoir hose queston
Hello,
I intend to replace my upper overflow tank reservoir hose. I believe the original hoses are binded together with some type of heat resistant wrap/fabric.
Question, when I replace this part. Which seems easy enough. Do I need to re-wrap it or perhaps zip tie it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues area.
The wrap should be a segmented type metal tube. It is to protect the rubber hose from the heat of the manifold and IMO you should try to remove it by not cutting it. Perhaps some wd-40 will allow you to pull the rubber hose out. Put the new one in via the same process.
