Change Radio Wave to Boost CD

Hello, as the title says, I'm going to change the car radio from Wave to Boost ... I wanted to ask if someone has already done it and the relevant advice, because from what I seemed to understand if you do not encode the car radio the parking sensors do not work, is that it? Thank you

Not much experience with Wave stereo on this forum because most members are in the US/Canada, and MINI here already come standard with Boost.

The car radio is independent of the car's ECU. Changing it should have no effect on the car's parking sensors. It has some connection to the speed sensor (volume increases based on the car's speed)

If you want to change your radio from Wave to Boost, you'll need a wave to boost adapter.
