Looking to update the maps on my 2013 R57. They have the 2013 MoVE maps currently. I searched on the boards and online but can not find the 2018 Move maps. Anyone know where to get these without having to go through dealer?

 

It's hard to find a good 3rd party source for maps, but try Bimmer-Tech: https://www.bimmer-tech.net/shop/bmw...ap-update-code

They should be able to tell you what's available and give you better pricing than the dealer. Dealers usually charge $150 for the update and it comes on a USB drive which lets you update yourself. 2018 maps may not be out yet for MOVE. Newest may be 2017-2 or 2017-3.

 

I updated my 2013 to the 2016 MOVE maps a couple years ago and used a guy on ebay...look up bmw fsc map and you'll find tons of vendors. You have to send them the last 7 of your vin and the type of map you want and they'll send you the unlock code and typically a link to dl the maps.

I looked too and can't find the NA maps for MOVE 2018 or 2017...I'd message one of the ebay sellers and ask to confirm.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to find 2017 on eBay. Sounds like 2018 isn't published yet or at least readily available.
