Aftermarket double din

Has anyone figured out the deal with how to add the aftermarket double din while maintaining the OBC, chimes, and steering wheel controls? I’ve read TONS of posts and have just been confused about it all. I’ve have researched the wires, adapters, and such about it but do not fell comfortable splicing wires. Is there not a plug and play kit created yet??? Most posts I’ve read about this sort of thing range from 2007-2010. Any updates? Anything current? Please help me out.

Crutchfield has a kit that includes a new trim piece, a harness, and adapters to maintain the chimes and steering wheel controls. After you choose your vehicle and select a stereo, the site will show you available kits for your car.
