So here is my experience with them so far. I ordered my unit around New Years and received it quickly. After installing it I noticed it was not recognizing the GPS SD card. The card would read in the other slot but not the GPS slot. I tried other cards as well, no go. We went back and forth emailing for about a week. They wanted to send new software and other stuff but with the GPS slot not working, I couldn't update anything. A couple of days later the unit would not even boot. It would sit on the recovery screen with an error saying the GPS SD card slot was not mounted or something. I had to ship the old radio back and they just now finally shipped a new one out. Or so they say. The old unit was delivered back to them a week ago. I had to threaten them with a Paypal dispute Friday because they would not answer any of my emails. Once I said i'll file with paypal, they shipped a new unit out.

Hopefully this one works.

Did not order

I ended up purchasing one from eBay, but it was plug and play except for the bezel. I had a few minor frustrations but otherwise great experience. Purchased from Real Media in Germany, and paid a professional installer to put it in. Hopefully the new one works for you!

^At first I thought those were wires coming out of your vent, and wondered who the heck installed your unit.

Hi angelnthecty1030,

I got a similar one but with WINCE 6. I am having an issue with the unit only turn ON in ignition mode, and shut down once the engine is OFF. Do you have this issue?

Also, the unit does not remember it's clock setting overnight.

Just wonder if your Android ver has the similar issue?

Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Is your unit Android or WinCE?

Do you mean as soon as you insert the key (not pressing start key from ignition) the unit will start?

Any chances you can check and let me know which firmware you got on your seicane?

Many Thanks!

I've been looking at these android units for a while
i like the one that deletes the speedo from center dash. The cheaper ones i've seen as all in kph not mph, kinda stupid but its enough that i havent bought one because of it
mostly drive with waze/torque/spotify on...been using a tablet with mount for a while but it would be nice to have it a little more permanent
