So I need to know if I can just swap the speedo from a donor vehicle. I removed the radio to make room while wiring some stuff and managed to separate the radio from the speedometer and pulled the ribbon cable that connects the two. In my attempt to return the ribbon cable to its plug, I ripped the plug off of the board. I found replacement speedometer but I dont know if I'll be able to just plug it in and be fine or if it will even recognize it. Will I be able to get just the speedometer part of will I need to get both the radio and speedometer? I tried to do some searching around but came up empty for my year. 2012 MINI COUPE S
