Hardwire a Garmin Nuvi 2699LMTHD

I just purchased a Garmin Nuvi 2699LMTHD for my 2013 Clubman. Can anyone point me to good detailed directions for hardwiring it? I know there is a specific Mini kit with a Garmin GPS but I wanted to go with a different model. Thanks in advance for any help.

You really can't "hardwire" with a LMTHD, as the cable is the antenna.
Cutting the cable, would disable the antenna.

Hard wiring a cig lighter female end to the shifter wiring, then plugging in, is best.
