iPod MINI Cooper 2005 and up?

was looking at the site and saw an auxillary input option for mp3 players, does this mean ipod integration is out for 2005 and up?

You can buy the auxiliary input, it will fit with the '04 and most '03 models as well. Not total integration, but it does allow you to connect your iPod to the MINI headset.

With just the aux. jack you can control the volume. You will also be able to get an integration kit that will allow you to control the other iPod functions similar to the BMW. I don't think the kit is out yet but should be soon from what I have heard.

Also the kit for BMW should work on the MINI.

Has this actually been proven? I hadn't heard any confirmation on this... Good luck getting the BMW kit, I believe it's still backordered.

Hey, for all you 05 MINI owners, get the an auxiliary input option, so you can use your iPod, but wait for the MINI iPod Kit. If BMW thought the BMW kit was the same at the MINI kit, it would have the same part number, yes they are money conscious too. Get the MINI kit. Don't look back, look forward.
