[font=Arial]I’m thinking of putting XM radio in my ’02 –S-. I looked at the XM commander unit due to it’s size and the remote tuner unit. Has anybody used this? What is the install difficulty? Is there a Blitzsafe product that will allow me to use my own head unit and the tuner?[/font]

I had the commander install in my 03 MC by the people at tweeter(www.tweeter.com) they had to put in a splitter on the antenna($16.95), the only thing is the antenna cord is not long enough so the antenna is on the front of the car roof. I had them order me a terk xm antenna with a 23 foot cord so I can put on the back of the roof.:smile:

 

I am buyest to Sirius but forget size...Sirius has far better programming.

Sirius also has some very small plug and play units comming out in a week or two.

 

you can use a blitzesafe audio input to get digital audio, that will not give you the display on your headunit. If you want that just buy the XM direct unit.
