Back up alarm not working after stereo upgrade

Hello all, I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area. I have a R57 that has had a stereo upgrade. I had a Pioneer head unit and a Integral Audio Soundstage / sub system installed by a reputable local audio shop. I had the BMRC01 chime interface and steering wheel control adaptor installed as well. Ever since the installation, my back up alarm has not been working. The door, key and seatbelt chimes all work as annoyingly as they should, just no back up sensor / alarm. I've had no luck finding info through searching the forum. Any suggestions of what to check for? I'm planning on getting the audio shop to look into this (when I get the time) but thought it may be something simple that I could bounce off you all first. Thanks!
