Hey all...I've searched and searched but not found much info on this. Some people have installed double DIN, and moved everything down, but the switches here end up too low for my taste.

I think there's a kit somewhere that moves the AC controls to under the switches, that would be OK I guess...

But, what I would like to do is swap the radio and AC controls and install a single DIN unit with flip out screen. Basically, this way, when the screen flips out it would cover up the AC controls but I don't care because I rarely use the AC. I'd rather this than cover the speedo/gauges.

Has anyone got any info on this? I could not find anything useful in all my searches...

OH, and I do have auto climate control...

As an alternative have you've seen this radio where the video screen hangs in front of and below the single DIN slot

Nope never found any info. I saw that single din but the screen would block the AC controls if you used it ...

I really want to try the swap but haven't had any time to look...
