Navigation & Audio iPhone Question
iPhone Question
Is there is any use/functionality of the iPhone Mini Connected app if the vehicle does not have the Mini Connected option?
When I first connected the phone to the lightning cable, one the first things it did was ask me if I wanted to download the app, which I did. I assumed (perhaps foolishly) that the app wouldn't be suggested or offered if there was no functionality.
But every time I launch it, I get no data in the display. When I us "diagnose" it reports no connection.
So is it the software, the lack of Mini Connected, the mechanics of the connection, ....? Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks

It's the lack of mini connected. My old mini didn't have it and those problems occurred. My new one does and everything syncs fine. But yes the purpose of the app is for mini connected only. So it can talk with your phone and share it's internet for mini connected services.
Thanks - nor sure about the Visual Boost - how to tell. Am I right in thinking if the word Boost appears on the CD? Thought I read that a week or so ago.....
Big deal to get the car coded for connected? Pricey? (what isn't? hehehehe)
