iPhone Connect Success

I wanted to post this mostly as a thank you to all the others who took the time to post so as let people know what worked for them, so when people like me searched for answers - we could find them.

I just picked up my '13 MCS last week and spent the first few days devouring all I could from this forum. One of biggest questions was how to connect my iPhone, this because the phone, the Bluetooth, and connectivity were all new to me from my '07.

I ended up ordering the Y lightning cable from Way Motor Works to use with my 5S iPhone. It came tonight so I just plugged it in - immediate gratification! Not done playing yet but I have charging, music, and full MFSW control. The display gives song, album, artist, etc as well. As I said, I am still playing but wanted to let other folks know what worked for me.

Another cool thing - with seconds of plugging in I was informed that I did not have the app I needed (Mini Connected) and did I want to download it? Sweet - love technology!!

Sorry - just realized this was 1st gen, not 2nd. Maybe a moderator can move this to the proper section of the forum?
