Finally I got the tune2air with viseeo Y-cable.
I tried to connect each other. It's ok between Iphone and tune2air.
But My 2012MCS with radio visiualboost it doesn't work.
I just can select Aux mode, can hear my music.
I can't use my steering wheel buttons.
Is there any idea?

I'm having a similar, if not same, issue. Just bought the Viseeo Tune2Air. Using a USB/Aux Y-Cable (via Amazon - neXplug). Amazon reviews confirm that it works with the Tune2Air, and that steering wheel controls also work for skipping tracks. Car is a 2009 with Navigation, without MINI Connected (obviously). Using an iPhone 5 on the latest version of iOS to connect.

In my case, after starting the car and the two automatically pair, I can use the nav screen to browse playlists, etc. On the top of the screen, "USB" is highlighted. I am able to select a playlist and hit play via the in-car controls, and after 10 seconds the car switches back to FM as if I had unplugged the USB and it lost connection. If I switch back to USB/Aux, "Aux" is highlighted, the USB connection is no longer recognized (which means no track info, skipping via steering wheel controls, etc.)

I just reached out to their customer service department, via their website (they were slow to respond at first). I'm guessing they are probably going to suggest that I: 1) update the Tune2Air to the latest version, and 2) buy their version of the Y-cable.

Let me know if you are able to get yours to work; I'll do the same. To me, steering wheel controls are worth the hassle of getting this to work.

I just went through a similar experience on my '08 MCS w/ Nav & HiFi. Worked fine with iPhones, but not Androids (got the 'auxiliary input' display, received audio, but no track listing or steering wheel controls). Updated the firmware, no luck. Bought the ViseeO y-cable, and now I have steering wheel controls (still no track info). Beyond updating firmware (which is needlessly complicated), and using the ViseeO cable, I wouldn't know what to suggest.

With the ViseeO Y cable, does your car radio automatically start on iPod every time? Or are there times you'll get in the car and the FM radio will be playing because the iPod mode didnt turn on in time so it just defaulted to the radio? Cause I have the ViseeO but very often mine doesn't start up in iPod mode...it starts up in FM but if go to audio iPod is there....so it seems that the iPod was just delayed in starting up...
