I just purchased MCS in Europe. I put down the deposit, and it will arrive in 3 weeks. UNfortunately the dealer says my car does not come with this MP3 Plug in Option (the Aux Plug). Shame on Mini, they discriminate US and EURO customers :evil:

What shall I do?? Anybody any ideas?? How can I connect my IPOD into this car with no hasstle??

Well, they don't let us have rear foglights, so the discrimination is on both sides of the pond, maybe someone can get you a US spec head unit, but I'm not sure if the frequency spacing is the same? Do you use odd or even numbers? (i.e. 93.7 or 93.

We use both even and odd numbers therefore the US numbers will not be fine.
This is a very simple detail which would not cost them a bit. I guess I will have to make a substensial change in the audio just for this detail such as buying a new AMP and splitter etc.... I have tried to contact Mini but they are impossible to reach.
