Ok, it's not Integral's amp, it's an Arc Audio ks125.2, but it's now dead. It blows the main 30A fuse, (on the amp, not the battery). Owned it less than two years, needless to say, I'm not impressed. I'll be replacing that pos with a JL Audio XD300.1 mono amp. I just never thought that bridging a 2 channel amp to mono was a good idea....

I sent emails and or contact info to both Kevin at Integral, and to arc audio, but haven't heard from them yet. Maybe this week. Either way I'm not getting another arc audio amp.

 

You probably have an output resistor that has shorted in the amp.. Do you run the amp hard?

 

Not very.less than 1/2 way on the controller.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I've already responded to your support request, check your email. You are more than a year outside of warranty coverage, but let me see what I can do to get you fixed up regardless.

I am in no, repeat, NO way am saying anything bad about you, or Integral Audio, or the system you designed and built. Let's be VERY clear here. It's sounds great. My issue is with MY AMP. I just had to vent a little. I sent you an Email too...

This system is by far the best looking and most complete sub system you can get. It's made with quality products, (except for MY AMP...lol) I'm also the guy that usually gets ignored in the nice restaurants, so yea, it usually happens to me....lol

 

In all fairness, JL amps are not the holy grail and have failures just like other mfg's. When your MINI has a failure is it no longer considered a quality product?
